My dad uses injections for his rheumatoid arthritis treatment

Rheumatoid arthritis is a very painful condition that many people suffer from. It is an autoimmune disease. Inflammation of the joints cause pain, and the pain and inflammation do irreversible damage. Rheumatoid arthritis can become a crippling condition, if it is not treated and kept under control. My dad uses injections for his rheumatoid arthritis treatment. He used to take oral medications, but they did not relieve his pain. His doctor prescribed a more aggressive treatment. The medication is injectable, and my dad had to learn how to give himself the injections. So far, the treatment has been effective in relieving the pain.
